What Exactly Is Soy Wax?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturate. This process dramatically alters the melting point of the oil, making it a solid at room temperature.
What Are the Benefits Of Soy Wax?
Soy wax is a very eco-friendly product with a lot of benefits. Here are just a few to nameā¦

Why Use Glass Containers?
One of the best benefits of soy wax is that it is water soluble. With just a little soap and warm water you can clean up any mess on just about any surface, especially glass. That's why we use glass containers for our candles. They are so easy to reuse or recycle when the candle is finish. How Do You Burn Green Light Candles?
Candles are safe products, but unless they are used safely and watched carefully, they can lead to an accidental fire. An estimated 18,000 candle fires are reported annually. According to fire experts, the bulk of candle-fire incidents are due to consumer inattention to basic fire safety or to the misuse of candles.
We urge our consumers to be careful when burning their Green Light Candles, and to following these rules for burning candles safely.
- Never leave candle burning unattended.
- Only burn on a stable heat resistant surface.
- Keep out of reach of children & pets. Keep away from drafts.
- Do not touch or move candle while burning, or if wax is hot.
- Do not burn candle when wax is less than 1/4 inch from bottom.
- Do not leave wick trimmings, used matches or other debris in your candles.
- Extinguish your candle if the flame becomes too high. Cool, trim wick, check for drafts, and re-light.
